Abstract . Work values of employees and a field study In todays organisations sustaining competitive structures greatly depends on the organisations human resources.  Organisational success depends on the culture that is developed by the workers. In shaping culture, work values that workers possess have great importance. The aim of this study is to evaluate work values through an empric examination. The field study involves TEDAŞ Region Directorship and Gökova Telekom Directorship in Muğla. Seventy one workers joined the survey. In the Study, the work values are motivate to work are investigated as a concept. These values are evaluated within their context. Then they are examined according to their importance. Finally some suggestion about the importance of work values are developed.
